The international debut with the presentation of his thriller "El secreto de Nefertiti" took place at the Com.It.Es in Madrid, hosted within the Consulate General of Italy. The conference, coordinated and presented by the president of the Latium Association, Elisabetta Bagli, along with councilor Antonio Gnisci and Com.It.Es councilor Alvaro Cicco (a native of Nettuno who emigrated to Spain many years ago), was held in collaboration with the Italo-Argentine Association in Spain, represented by Carolina Davico, and La Voce d’Italia, the newspaper for Italians around the world. The event generated interest and curiosity regarding both the book and the author, who was introduced with a summary of his artistic career in acting and literature, with particular attention to the numerous accolades received throughout Italy. Before diving into the discussion about the work, Marco Nica informed the attendees about his places of origin, as it is essential to describe the history and traditions that are part of the artist's DNA and inevitably influence his characteristics. It was a very important international spotlight for the cities of Anzio and Nettuno, which were indirectly brought into the conversation by the curiosity of those who attended the event. Culture is a meeting between peoples, a sharing of human and artistic experiences, a total confrontation on social issues, and much more. All elements that enrich both the presenter and the audience. The presentation highlighted some aspects of the plot construction, including the techniques used to make it engaging, the process that involved gathering all historical information related to ancient Rome and ancient Egypt discussed in the book, ensuring that fantasy perfectly intertwined with real and verifiable references. The study of the main characters, portrayed not as superheroes but as ordinary people thrust into an unexpected adventure to make the story realistic; the chapter structure was designed to resemble scenes from a film, aiming to captivate the reader until the last page. The author's theatrical and cinematic background undoubtedly played a fundamental role in the writing of the text, with the goal of capturing the reader's attention without resorting to lengthy and unnecessary descriptions, but rather moving straight to the unfolding events while maintaining a rhythm typically dictated by acting. After all, the author has often described himself as an actor turned to literature. The following day, the feedback in Spain was very positive; the conference was considered one of the best organized by Com.It.Es Spain, highlighting how the audience engaged the author in an engaging dialogue. The Italo-Argentine component simply referred to it as "an extraordinary encounter," spontaneously admiring it as a special event.
